  • Achieve in average about 15 visits per week to our end users (60%), specifiers, distributors, flooring contractors.
  • Contribute to the achievement of a sales budget for the territory

  • Promote the company’s products by calling on key accounts.
  • Promote and achieve specification of Gerflor Industry products by calling on end users and specifiers such as architects, interior designers, flooring contractors, builders, and quantity surveyors, i.e any person or company that may be involved in the specification of a floor finish in the segment.
  • Support agents and Gerflor commercial sales team through product training as well as customer and specifier visits together with sales agents.
  • Organize “lunch and learn” sessions with specifiers

  • Development of brochure and sales tools
  • Coordinate content development and editing of print production collateral, sample binders, brochures, direct mail, sales tools, time and on budget from approved concept to print production and distribution to the sales force

PROJECT COORDINATION AND EVENTS

  • Management of industry tradeshows and events
  • Sourcing and project coordination of third-party vendors such as production companies, photographers, media placement, promotional items, and catering services as needed
  • Maintain photo library for US content
  • Work with graphic designers and outside vendors to ensure brand consistency
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with sales force

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Related degree in communication, marketing, design or related degree / experience
  • 3 years’ experience in similar role. Agency experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop the turn-over in the bus market in North America by promoting and specifying Gerflor transport products to specifiers, mainly transit authorities, bus dealers, US States Department of Transportation and original equipment manufacturers.
  • Develop the turn-over in the Passenger Boarding Bridges market by getting the Gerflor Product range specified by the airlines and the transport administration.
  • In these markets:
  • To propose the budgets for sales and marketing in the territory
  • To establish the sales forecasts.
  • To collect the receivables.

We are currently seeking to add a Sport and Education Marketing Manager to our Marketing Department, to lead the USA Sports and Education marketing product offer and marketing activities, to achieve Gerflor (sports and education), Connor Sports and Sport Court Commercial sales budget. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • This position entails working hand in hand with the category sales leader to establish and manage all aspects of the sports and education marketing segment growth priorities, creates the segment 3-year product launch vision, develops annual marketing plan, identifies changes in the marketing environment or competitive landscape, and evaluates and adjusts or redrafts the segments marketing plan and priorities.

MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS (Sport and Education)

  • Overseas all primary and secondary marketing research, market and segment analysis, category competitive analysis, positioning and segmentation analysis, to set brand/product diagnostics and order to identify opportunities, priorities and differentiating positioning.
  • Identify customer’s needs, category trends and future sources of growth, product category(ies) or line extensions.
  • Creates 3-5-year business plans (BP) with market data to evaluate the best segment and product introductions opportunities.
  • Leads benchmark product analysis of the segment/category and ensures that information is decimated to sales team and back to central product management team

  • Takes leadership role when appropriate in negotiating, planning and coordinating of major industry annual events: NCAA sponsorships, Tradeshows, customer events in collaboration with Marketing Communications Director.
  • Creates sales incentive programs for the category and sales network

QUALIFICATIONS

Territory Sales Manager LA  

We are currently seeking to add a Territory Sales Manager to our sales team to contribute Sales & Specification of Gerflor Contract and Sport ranges of products towards the targeted market sectors in Los Angeles Metro, California. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager of the area. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Achieve in average about 15 to 20 visits per week to our specifiers, distributor, flooring contractors, and customers.
  • Contribute to the achievement of a sales budget for the territory
  • Communicate on the company pricing policy decided
  • Promote the company’s products by calling on Appointed Distributors, their branches, Flooring contractors and End users.
  • Promote and achieve specification of Gerflor Commercial & Sport products by calling on Specifiers such as Architects, Interior Designers, flooring contractors, Health Authorities, Local Authorities, Builders, Quantity Surveyors, i.e. any person or company that may be involved in the specification of a floor finish.
  • Support distributors / dealers’ sales team and ensure products training as well as joint customers and specifiers visits together with distributors sales staff.
  • Organize “lunch and learn” sessions with specifiers
  • Maintain precise records, on an ongoing basis, of significant projects in the territory concerning targeted market sectors.
  • Implement company practice concerning project tracking with the CRM.
  • Actively participate in trade shows and road shows organized in conjunction with distributors.
  • Provide market intelligence concerning Competition, Distribution, Product trends, Standards, etc.
  • Recommend ideas to contribute to the product range development.
  • Actively participate in product field tests.
  • Coordinate and attend customer trips to factories.
  • Further investigate complaints on behalf of the company when necessary.
  • Perform maintenance demos and project photography after the sale service.
  • These duties may be amended in the future depending on the business development.

QUALIFICATIONS  

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and specification and with long term business.

Related degree in sales, marketing and/or business

Must be sales oriented, outgoing, organized, self-motivated, self-starter, accountable and computer literate especially with a CRM.
