Gerflor acquires Architectural Floor Systems

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – (JULY 7, 2008) – The Gerflor Group announces it acquired Architectural Floor Systems (AFS) of Chicago, Illinois in June 2008. Gerflor, headquartered in Lyon, France, and AFS have been long time partners. Gerflor is a worldwide leader in the resilient vinyl flooring industry including Taraflex Sports Flooring among its product lines. AFS has been the authorized Gerflor and Taraflex distributor and installer in the Midwest and on the West Coast for many years. The integration of AFS into Gerflor is in progress.
