Connecticut Children’s completed a new eight-story clinical tower in December 2025, marking a major expansion focused on enhancing pediatric care and creating a healing, family-centered environment. 

More than 70,000 square feet of Gerflor flooring solutions were installed throughout the facility, supporting durability, sustainability, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The project features DLW Linoleum and Mipolam Symbioz, delivering high-performance flooring tailored to modern healthcare spaces. 

The project was led by CannonDesign, whose vision combined advanced clinical functionality with uplifting, child-focused design, while M. Frank Higgins & Co. partnered to deliver a seamless, high-performance flooring installation.
