The Grover C. Dils Medical Center, situated in a small and remote central Nevada town with a population of under 1,000, faced a unique challenge: no local flooring contractors were qualified for healthcare product installations. Turning to Gerflor for assistance, the solution involved Mipolam Elegance for patient areas and Creation 28 LVT for hallways and common spaces. Coordinating with a contractor from the Reno area, the installation was efficiently managed. With the project funded through a grant set to expire in 2022, time constraints were crucial for completing the project by year's end. The durability and infection control advantages of these products played a pivotal role in addressing the specific needs of this community hospital.
