This community center aimed to install a high-performance sports floor that ensures excellent injury protection and easy, cost-effective maintenance. Gerflor collaborated with Kimmel Bogrette Architects to recommend Recreation 85, a Class 3 athletic surface tested per ASTM F2772 standards. Working alongside sports partner All Sports Enterprises, the general contractor successfully installed 12,000 SF of flooring within the 90,000 SF facility. The expansive facility includes a fitness center, lap pool, indoor leisure pool, outdoor pool, senior center, teen center, and various classrooms and multi-use spaces.
